The game started off slowly for both sides with the tough conditions making it difficult for either side to get the ball on the floor and play. Another goal came in quick succession after a swift break from MGS resulted in a tap in for Ollie Meir. MGS were on top of the game controlling the tempo but Crompton House managed to knick a goal when the ball came out to the edge of the box from a corner and their player rocketed it into the top corner. After 10 minutes of pressure from Crompton house MGS managed to restore the two goal lead as Ollie Meir got his hat-trick after some great play from George Archer. MGS went into the break 3-1 up.

After the break MGS picked up where they left off as Joe Okeregha came off the bench and scored a great goal from the edge of the box. Crompton House began to capitulate as they got a man sent off. MGS kicked on with Joe Okeregha taking advantage of the extra man and scoring again. At this point the Crompton House players lost their heads, shouting at the referee, as a result their captain got a sin bin for dissent. MGS then ran riot.
