On: Monday, 07 Oct 2019
Venue: at Home

MGS' second game in the ISFA cup appeared on paper to be much more difficult than the first, however a stronger performance from the first XI ensured that the outcome was the same. Archer and baker returned to the side after reaching season long contract agreements with the coaching staff. Bede’s scored first after a sluggish MGS start and poor defending from a free kick which was punted into the box. MGS however bounced back quickly and Meir put the first team level before Baker won a penalty from a free kick which Archer finished easily.

Half time and the game still very much in the balance at 2-1, the first XI decided to step it up a gear and, with the help of a sin bin for decent of a Bede’s player, gave the ball to Archer twice who scored two top class goals, chipping the keeper and placing the ball in the top corner with his left foot. An own goal put the game to 5-1 with twenty minutes to go. MGS' concentration lapsed and a slice of look gave the other side 2 goals before the end but this was only concellation as MGS secured there place in the last 16.
