Match Report
The Manchester Grammar School Boys-U14A vs  Lymm High School
On: Wednesday, 18 Sep 2019
Venue: at Home

The game started off as a tense battle. Unfortunately after a couple of deflections, an unlucky slip, and a rebound of Cainer the Lymm striker was able to score. Then again due to another collection of unfortunate events we found ourselves 2-0 down.

Quickly after Lymm had scored there 2nd MGS reacted quickly and well. Webb was able to tap one in from a good cross by Livingston. Then after Aderinto going past several players was able to finish and complete a good run. We went into half time at 2-2 and had made a good comeback, so far.

Then when the second half began Lymm again were able to score a lucky goal due to a unpredictable bounce which led to a quick goal for Lymm and another for there striker. Soon after Webb was able to score from a good strike past the Lymm goalkeeper. Suddenly it was MGS 3 and Lymm 3. And MGS were on the front foot. Savage then was able to capitalise on a mistake from there keeper and it was 4-3. We defended well and strong and were able to win the game 4-3.
