Match Report
The Manchester Grammar School Boys-U14A vs  The King's School, Chester
On: Saturday, 13 Oct 2018
Venue: at Home

Another excellent win for the U14s, which saw them play some superb football, especially in the first half. The score was somehow 0-0 despite at HT despite dominating the first 35 minutes and hitting the woodwork no less than four times, but the patience and willingness to use the width that we exhibited was particularly pleasing. Josh was fantastic in a slightly different role of LCB.

We slightly altered the formation in the second half to play three upfront and Sam got his chance at centre forward. While we did run away with the game quickly in the second half, we perhaps defended a little too deep which led to conceding. The goals themselves came from two corners, and then from some excellent build up play down the flanks. The boys should certainly be taking real confidence into the big cup game on Tuesday.
