Match Report
The Manchester Grammar School Boys-U15A vs  Lymm High School
On: Wednesday, 12 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

The U15's started off on the front foot with two one on one chances early in the game that were missed. We would come to regret those chances as Lymm piled on the pressure through their skilful midfielder.

After 20 minutes we conceded the first goal and our heads went down. This was followed by a second from a cross when the ball wasn’t cleared. The third goal came from our inability to close the opposition down. Then a fourth goal was scored from outside the penalty box. At half time the score was 4-0 to Lymm.

We played a bit better in the second half with Aadam Hasan making several runs down the left-hand side, but the energy was low, and we couldn’t close them down quick enough. This lead to them scoring 2 more goals, both shots from outside the penalty box. The final goal came from a cross into the box which was then tapped in by one of their players.

Although MGS played good football at time Lymm’s attack after attack tired the MGS defence and midfield causing us problems which lead to 7-0 defeat.
