Match Report
The Manchester Grammar School U13B vs  Kirkham Grammar School
On: Saturday, 13 Oct 2018
Venue: at Home

With over 20 boys unavailable from the U13 squad, I was wary of today's outcome against such an established rugby school as Kirkham Grammar. Well done to every U13b player today who tried their best and played some thrilling rugby at times. Ball presentation was pleasing and it was a cracking game which could have gone either way at half time.

Sam Simmonds organised well, with Toby Brunt and Daniel Haroon making some wonderful bull-dozing runs from deep in their own half. George Nash was showing how much he had improved in the last month putting in another excellent display of aggressive ball carrying, rucking and tackling.

In fact it was a delight to watch with and our inexperience didn't show in what was such a close game. Well done to both sets of players and thank you to Mr Baker for refereeing.

Score: 25 - 35
Tries: Haroon, Simmonds, Brunt (2), Zhang
MVP(s): George Nash
