On Saturday 12thOctober MGS played Kings School Chester. Kings got an early goal after some unfortunate defensive errors, however MGS were able to bring it back minutes later after a De Bruyne esc ball from Theo Kypriadous within his own half, played Alfie Johnson in who played a ball across the box for Matthew Wagstaffe to slot it in. Then in quick succession, MGS scored from a corner delivered by Imran Malik and Headed in by Will Valentine. For the rest of the half MGS dominated and then unfortunately Kings scored off a set piece just before half time, score 2-2. The second half started fast as after 15 minutes a ball from the winger, Rory, met Aadam Hassan’s head to go in. For the rest of the half MGS dominated again, Alfie Johnson missing some vital chances in the final third. Then, shortly after some tactical subs, MGS scored in the closing minutes from another corner from Imran and carefully put away by Theo. End score was 4-2.
