Good to get back to winning ways after 3 consecutive defeats but we certainly know how to put the supporters through the mill. Losing 12-28 at half time after giving away 4 really soft tries through a lack of tackling and indiscipline we knew we needed to perform, start to become more accurate, cut out the errors and take control of the game with some better decision making in the second period.

Zak Clarke and Ed Kearns scored close range tries and with Luke McCreath making the extras we managed to get to within 2 points. A number of missed opportunities followed where again decision making at the contact and missing overlap opportunities left the game in the balance. But up stepped the skipper Tomek Pozniak in the final minute to do what he does best and crash his way over from 10 yards out whilst carrying a number of defenders on his back. Luke McCreath added the conversion to put the gloss on a great comeback and one which I hope will be a spring board into the next few games.

When we concentrate we can play some fantastic rugby but too many individual errors prove costly too often. We must improve this area of our game and focus on doing the simple things very well.

Man of the Match: Edward Kearns and Ollie Hill
